Friends of Sacred Structures
"Supporting Vital Neighborhood Needs"

A group of Kansas City citizens concerned with neglect and abandonment of religious buildings throughout the metropolitan area began discussions of these concerns in 1991. As the result, Friends of Sacred Structures, Inc. (FOSS) was incorporated as a Missouri not for profit organization January 29, 1992.

 FOSS is managed by a volunteer board and is predominately a volunteer organization. The board meets monthly and operates through several functional committees. FOSS is financed through supporting memberships, contributions by individuals and organizations, and grants.
